Property group Lomond has merged two of its Yorkshire estate agencies, bringing Eddison Vale under the Hardisty brand name as part of a consolidation strategy.
Eddison Vale will now operate as Hardisty across its coverage areas of Ilkley, Skipton, Craven, and the Yorkshire Dales. Hardisty currently operates in north and west Leeds, meaning the combined entity will cover a larger territory across North and West Yorkshire.
Rebrand rollout
The consolidation will involve updated shopfronts and signage across all branches to create consistency under the Hardisty identity, according to the company.
David Alexander, Chief Revenue Officer at Lomond, said: “Our regional brands are a major part of our strength at Lomond, and so to combine two successful agencies, bringing the strengths of both together and giving clients a seamless, first-class offering is a huge bonus for us.”
Andrew Hardisty, Head at Hardisty, stated: “This strategic decision reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering a unified, premium service across Ilkley, Craven and the Yorkshire Dales while leveraging the strength and market recognition of the Hardisty brand. By bringing the two brands together, we are combining the heritage of Dale Eddison with the prestige and forward-thinking approach of Hardisty.”
Market positioning
Phil Whitham, Manager at Hardisty Prestige, the group’s higher-end service division, commented on the expansion: “We’re delighted to see Hardisty Prestige extend into Ilkley and Skipton, through the integration with Dale Eddison, complementing the fantastic work already being done by our colleagues there.”
The move represents a consolidation trend among regional estate agency groups seeking to streamline operations and strengthen brand recognition in specific geographic markets. The merger allows Lomond to operate under a single brand across a wider Yorkshire territory rather than maintaining separate identities in adjacent areas.
