An AI agent has been launched to automate tenant communications called WorkFlo, which has been developed by VerbaFlo.

This is designed to replace tools like spreadsheets, email blasts and third-party SMS to stay in touch with prospective or existing tenants.

The AI can be used to issue timely nudges across the entire tenancy journey from enquiry to move-out – to chase rent payments, collect documents, and/or drive onboarding.

VP Singh, co-founder and chief operating officer of VerbaFlo, said: “Generating interest isn’t the hard part – it’s managing every touchpoint that comes after.

“With WorkFlo, our revolutionary AI handles the full tenant journey – following up with new leads, chasing documents during onboarding, nudging for rent payments, and even prompting tenants at renewal time.

“It communicates instantly and naturally, so nothing slips through the cracks. That kind of proactivity not only prevents lost revenue – it keeps landlords happy, tenants engaged, and property managers focused on what really matters.”

VerbaFlo has signed landmark partnerships with Vita Student, Downing Students, Housing Hand, Scape, Fusion Students, Moda Living, among others.

The AI technology now manages over 120,000+ beds in the UK, and the company is projecting one in six beds being managed by AI agents by 2026.

WorkFlo is said to reduce manual workload across 40+ use cases, with two more being launched each week, so teams can focus on higher-value work without burning out.

Since launching, early adopters of the tech have reported a 50% uplift in lead conversions, over 95% time-savings on repetitive tasks, and a 40% reduction in associated costs – all while generating £1M +in new revenue from leads that would have previously fallen through the cracks.
